Qualifications

• 2-3 years of CNC Lathe experience with VTL, 2-Axis, Multi-Axis.
• Experience with Doosan, Okuma, and Matsuura preferred.

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe / Turning Machines.
• Perform machine adjustments and troubleshoot processes.
• Inspect machined parts using precision hand tools.

Job description

Position: CNC Lathe Machinist
Shift: 1st | Hours: 7AM - 3:30PM
Type: Full-Time | Mode: Direct Placement
Pay Scale: $24 -32/hr | Industry: Manufacturing

Our Client is Seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist with experiences in Full-Setup Procedures, Operations, and performing Adjustments. Candidates with Doosan, Okuma and Matsuura Experiences are preferred (not a requirement).

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe / Turning Machines, VTL's and Mill-Turns (Doosan, Okuma, Matsuura).
• Performs Machine Adjustments and Troubleshoots Controllers / Machines / Processes.
• Works from Blueprint Requirements.
• Selects Tools, Sets Feeds and Speeds.
• Perform Inspection of Machined Parts using Precision Hand Tools.
• Able to work Independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Maintains a clean work environment and Shop Floor (Tools, Equipment, Machines, etc.)
• Re-orders Tools as needed.

Job Requirements:

• 2-3 Years of CNC Lathe Experience (i.e. VTL, 2-Axis, Multi-Axis, Mill/Turns)
• High School Diploma OR GED OR Vocational Schooling
• Doosan, Okuma & Matsuura Experience.
