Job summary

JCB is seeking a CNC Machining Group Leader at our San Antonio facility to oversee daily CNC operations, drive continuous improvement, and mentor a skilled manufacturing team. You will allocate resources, monitor performance, ensure safety, and maintain SOP compliance while pushing Lean initiatives to reduce waste and improve quality.

The ideal candidate will have extensive CNC machining experience, a track record in supervisory roles, and strong leadership and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of CNC machining experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years in supervisory/lead role.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, production operations, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct daily CNC machining operations to meet production goals.
• Supervise, coach, and develop team members for engagement and growth.
• Manage performance, attendance, productivity, and policy adherence.
• Foster a collaborative, results-driven environment for excellence.
• Lead daily team meetings to set priorities and review metrics.
• Develop and maintain training programs for onboarding and cross-training.
• Prepare reports on departmental performance (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Maintain visual management tools and performance boards.
