Job summary

JCB in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Team Leader to guide quality inspectors and drive safety, quality and on-time delivery within the manufacturing team.

You will supervise the team, monitor quality and productivity, and collaborate with supervisors and managers, while advancing continuous improvement initiatives. Previous welding environment experience and GD&T knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or operational environment.
• Has experience working in a welding environment.
• Has GD&T knowledge.
• Experience in a quality team.
• Ability to supervise or lead others.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team to meet daily quality and manufacturing targets.
• Ensure work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
• Monitor quality, productivity and performance.
• Allocate work and manage priorities to meet schedules.
• Coach, support and develop team members.
• Conduct team briefings, handovers and communications.
• Identify and elevate safety, quality or equipment issues.
• Support continuous improvement and problem-solving activities.
• Complete basic people and production administration.
• Collaborate with other Team Leaders, Supervisors and Managers.
