Job summary

Flex in Buffalo Grove, IL is hiring a CNC Grinder Operator to support precision tooling. You will set up and run CNC grinders with a Fanuc controller, inspect parts, and ensure tolerances on a range of small components.

The role requires 3–5 years in a tight-tolerance medical mold environment, strong reading of blueprints, and proficiency with precision measuring tools. You’ll work Mon-Fri 6am–2:30pm and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience in a tight-tolerance medical mold environment.
• Ability to read complex drawings and mathematical data.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts, document sizes, and follow a schedule for quality and efficiency.
• Operate lathes, mills, grinders, and saws to produce small parts to spec.
• Set up and run CNC grinders with a Fanuc controller; adjust speeds and feeds.
• Check parts against tolerances and blueprints; train others as needed.
• Assist in designing or modifying tooling and fixtures as required.
