W3Global is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist A - OD Grinder to set up and run Studer CNC OD grinding machines with Fanuc controls in a clean, climate-controlled shop in Illinois. The role emphasizes first-piece inspections, precision tolerances, and teamwork in a safe, high-quality environment.

You will interpret blueprints, adjust tooling, and collaborate to meet productivity and quality targets while maintaining accurate records and TPM adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC equipment with minimal supervision.
• Program and operate Studer CNC OD grinders with Fanuc controls.
• Perform quality inspections and adjust tooling or machine to meet tolerances.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and verify work by others.
• Train operators on safe operation and best practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot with team and improve processes.
• Interpret blueprints and manufacturing docs.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Follow TPM and keep area clean and organized.
• Adhere to quality and safety standards.
