Job summary

Schivo Medical in Plainview, NY is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Operator to set up, run, and monitor milling machines to produce precision parts for medical devices.

You will verify components against prints, change tools, make offsets, load materials, and document processes while working closely with a team of experts. Experience with Fanuc controls and GD&T is preferred. This role offers growth opportunities and a supportive, equal-opportunity environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with lathe/mill turning machines.
• Experience with CNC Milling machines.
• Experience using the Fanuc control preferred.
• Must read and interpret drawings and GD&T symbols.
• Working knowledge of various materials & tools (inserts, endmills, drills).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills and positive can-do attitude
• Must be dependable and possess a willingness to learn new techniques.

Responsibilities

• Verify components are produced to print (dimensional and visual inspection).
• Change tools.
• Make offsets.
• Load material and remove scrap.
• Fill out various paperwork.
• Simultaneous operation of multiple machines
• Minor troubleshooting
