Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience on a 5-axis CNC grinder.
• Two-year machining or technical degree (or equivalent medical component experience).
• Ability to read, comprehend, follow and document work instructions and SOPs.
• Advanced math including trigonometry and GD&T knowledge.
• Experience with ERP systems and inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Program, setup and run 5-axis CNC grinding machines for production and prototypes.
• Support engineering in printing and work instructions for grinding.
• Mentor level I and II machinists and monitor compliance with policies.
• Maintain machine uptime and track efficiency metrics.
• Document measurements and counts on shop floor records.
• Adhere to GDP, GMP and ISO medical device requirements.
• Read and follow work instructions; cross-train in other production areas.
