Job summary

Norwood Medical in Dayton, OH is seeking skilled machinists to support precision medical component manufacturing. You will read blueprints, set up CNC mills and grinders, and follow inspection plans to ensure quality and traceability.

Join a safety‑focused team, work with experienced operators, maintain clean documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement. Lifting up to 35 lb and English literacy are required; overtime may be available.

Qualifications

  • Read, follow, and complete a company router and perform work as assigned by a Group Leader.
  • Execute an inspection plan using MIP or inspection data sheets with standard or specialized equipment.
  • Understand and execute part and operation specific requirements.
  • Identify and react to tool failures/stack-ups.
  • Assist with the build, setup, and troubleshooting of fixtures, dies and/or special machines.
  • Complete job packages consisting of multiple details including assemblies.
  • Understand CNC machines and machining operations (mills, grinders, lathes).
  • Detect and report defective material or questionable conditions to a Group Leader.
  • Maintain safety and good documentation practices.
  • Follow good manufacturing processes and maintain a clean workspace.

Responsibilities
