gpac LLC. is seeking a field service technician in Elgin, IL to install, service, repair, and test CNC machinery and sheet metal fabrication equipment.

This role involves traveling to customer sites across the United States and resolving mechanical and electrical issues with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable with electrical systems, and able to work independently while presenting a professional image in the field.

Formación

• Must read mechanical drawings and understand equipment functionality.
• Experience with electrical systems and safety practices.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Install, service, repair, and test CNC machinery and sheet metal fabrication equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
• Diagnose equipment problems and identify replacement parts.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify electrical issues.
• Provide on-site technical support and customer service.
• Travel to customer facilities throughout the U.S. (up to 75%).
• Work with an experienced team to develop product and equipment expertise.
