Kensington Consulting Ltd is seeking a field service CNC technician to service, repair, and install machine tools at customer sites. You will perform advanced troubleshooting, alignment, and calibration, often traveling to client facilities with minimal supervision.

The role requires experience with CNC controls, mechanical/electrical diagnostics, and ability to train customers and colleagues. A strong safety mindset and reliable transportation are essential assets for this position.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electronic engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in machine tool field service.
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
• Deep understanding of CNC controls and machine tool specifications.

Responsabilités

• Dismantle and prepare machines for shipment.
• Level and alignment of machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair major machine tool problems.
• Disassemble, repair and rebuild machine tool sub-assemblies and assemblies.
• Identify, repair or replace damaged components.
• First-time power-up and troubleshooting of machines.
• Report activities and expenses timely and accurately.
• Train other employees for advancement.
• Train customers on operation of CNC control systems.
• Travel to customer facilities often and on short notice.
