Job summary

KRC Machine Tool Solutions is seeking an experienced CNC Field Service Technician to service, repair, and install machine tools across customer sites. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using precision test equipment and coordinate installations with customers, vendors, and staff.

The role requires extensive travel (up to 85%), strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of machine tools and terminology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with basic computer tools and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and prepare machines for shipment.
• Level and align machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair major machine tool problems.
• Disassemble, repair, and rebuild sub-assemblies and assemblies.
• Identify, repair, or replace damaged components.
• Perform first-time power-up and troubleshooting.
