Job summary

The Robert E. Morris Company seeks a Field Service Technician to install, maintain and repair CNC Lathe, Milling and Multi-Functional Machining Centers at customer sites across the Springfield area.

You will train on mechanical drawings, electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics and PLC logic, travel frequently, and provide hands-on service plus customer training, with opportunities for advancement and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn how to read mechanical drawings and electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics.
• Willing to develop electro-mechanical skills and diagnose CNC equipment issues.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities expected.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, calibrate, maintain and repair CNC equipment at customer facilities.
• Provide operator training and network integration between systems.
• Travel daily from home to customer sites with overnight stays as needed.
• Act as the voice of the customer to the service group and ensure safety compliance.
