Job summary

Zaddy Solutions is seeking a CNC Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tools across the upper Midwest. You will travel to customer sites, diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure equipment operates at peak performance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years hands-on CNC experience, strong electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic knowledge, the ability to read schematics, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience repairing or maintaining CNC machinery.
• Experience with rotating machinery, spindles, and precision bearings.
• Strong understanding of CNC controls and basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail and technical accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant business software.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Utilize manuals, technical documentation, and vendor support to troubleshoot complex problems.
• Clearly communicate equipment status, repairs, and recommendations to customers.
• Submit service and installation reports accurately and completely.
• Maintain professionalism and technical excellence in meeting commitments.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers.
• Stay informed on new technologies and product updates through ongoing training.
