Job summary

Gosiger in Idaho/Meridian is seeking a field service technician to troubleshoot, install, repair, and service CNC machine tools at customer sites and in company facilities. You will work with a team to maintain high quality, safety, and timely service, documenting actions and communicating progress to customers.

Travel for training and cross-division support is required, with flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; a valid passport may be required

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or certification in CNC troubleshooting, repair, and installation.
• Minimum 2 years experience in troubleshooting, installation, and repair of Machine Tools Products.
• A valid Drivers License, a good driving record, and the ability to operate a company vehicle for business.
• Good interpersonal communication skills and professional conduct with customers and peers.
• Willingness to travel and obtain a passport for opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots CNC machine tools at customer sites and in-house.
• Performs installation, service, and preventative maintenance with high quality and efficiency.
• Documents actions, findings, parts, and repair using service software; reports same day or within 24 hours.
• Consults with team members and other departments to resolve installation/service issues.
• Proposes process improvements and safety enhancements to supervisors.
