Job summary

Kinetic Engine Systems in Westfield, MA is seeking a CNC & Facility Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation of manufacturing equipment. The role requires 5+ years of maintenance experience and knowledge of multiple CNC platforms.

You will troubleshoot, perform repairs, coordinate with operators, and maintain tools and cleanliness while complying with safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site position with potential travel between facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 5+ years of prior maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of CNC machines Niigata, Matsuura, Nakamuura, Mazak, Haas, Yasda.
• Ability to troubleshoot machines and repair accordingly.
• Ability to coordinate with operator on maintenance activities to meet production schedules.
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Working knowledge of equipment and tools.
• Ability to identify future maintenance problems.
• Understanding of hazardous materials, PPE and proper usage.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Follow Safety culture and wear PPE when required.
• Maintain operation of manufacturing facility daily and perform general contracting duties.
• Complete repairs to all phases of manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions and report to supervisor.
• Keep tools and equipment in optimum condition.
• Perform in-depth diagnostic trouble shooting for mechanical and control systems.
• Support PM program and uptime of critical equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of shop and grounds.
• Perform cleaning duties for facility and equipment.
• Use proper tools safely for each repair.
• Handle hazardous materials and chemicals safely.
• Check machine fluid levels daily and maintain proper levels.
• Be reachable via company cell phone for communication.
• Receive products/materials from vendors using forklifts and pallet jacks.
