Job summary

Reader Precision Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Lubrication Technician to ensure proper lubrication of CNC machines and related equipment, maximizing uptime and preserving asset life. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance and safe, clean operation in a high-tech manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include routine lubrication, PM program design, troubleshooting, documentation in CMMS, and collaboration with production and engineering to improve reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred.
• 1–3 years in industrial maintenance or lubrication; CNC environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and lubrication principles.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and lubrication charts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lubrication of CNC machines, including way oil systems, spindle lubrication, gearboxes and hydraulic components.
• Inspect equipment for proper lubrication levels, leaks, contamination and wear.
• Maintain and service lubrication systems and monitor oils, greases and coolants.
• Collect oil/grease samples for analysis and assist in predictive maintenance.
• Maintain lubrication records in CMMS and support lubrication schedules.
• Assist in breakdowns and repairs; follow safety procedures including LOTO.
