Reader Precision Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Lubrication Technician to ensure proper lubrication of CNC machines and related equipment, maximizing uptime and asset life.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance and basic mechanical upkeep, with core hours from 6:30am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday, in Wisconsin." The position supports cleanliness, chip removal, hydraulic hose maintenance, and safe operations, with overtime flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (technical certification preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or lubrication (CNC environment preferred).
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, bearings, hydraulics, and lubrication principles.
• Familiarity with oils, greases, viscosity grades, and contamination control.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and lubrication charts.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability, uptime, and lifecycle management of all production equipment.
• Design, implement, and improve a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance (PM) program.
• Lead troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root cause analysis for chronic or high-impact failures.
• Establish maintenance standards for CNC, Swiss, cam, secondary, and support equipment.
• Serve as the escalation point for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues.
• Develop machine-specific maintenance documentation, checklists, and service histories.
• Partner with production and engineering to improve equipment reliability through design and process improvements.
• Perform routine lubrication of CNC machines, including way oil systems, spindle lubrication, gearboxes, and hydraulic components.
• Maintain lubrication records and documentation (CMMS).
• Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout (LOTO).
