Job summary

Morris Group, Inc. (Morris Midwest) is seeking a motivated Preventative Maintenance Technician to service CNC production equipment across customer facilities.

You will perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose electro-mechanical issues, and use manuals and vendor resources to keep machines operating reliably. The role requires strong communication with customers and internal teams, willingness to travel, and the ability to work safely in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Proficient English verbal and written communication and customer relation skills.
• Able to interact and effectively communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Basic digital literacy and proficiency with MS Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Daily travel to customer facilities with occasional overnight stays for remote locations.
• Demonstrate teamwork and assist others as needed.
• Research machine parts and service using manuals and vendor resources.
• Serve as a direct communication link between the customer and Morris Service Group.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the work area.
• Promote preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment and train customer staff.
• Read and interpret drawings and schematics.
• Maintain knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines.
