Job summary

Morris Midwest in Naperville, IL is seeking a motivated Preventative Maintenance Technician to join a leading division of Morris Group, Inc. This role offers exciting opportunities to work with CNC machines, tooling, and training customers in safe operation.

You will perform pre-sale activities, cost estimates, and technical demonstrations while maintaining deep product knowledge and strong customer service in a fast-paced, regional travel role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on machining experience with CNC machines.
• Experience on Swiss and Okuma controls is a plus.
• Solid understanding of CAD/CAM software.
• MasterCam, Esprit and Solidworks experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Frequent travel throughout our regional territory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-sale activities including customer visits and machine assessments.
• Provide cost estimates, write engineering reports, and interpret plans.
• Program and set up CNC lathes and mills.
• Develop and deliver demonstrations and training for CNC machines and equipment.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of product lines represented by the company.
