Job summary

Closets by Design is seeking a production team member for our Woodinville, WA shop. The role focuses on operating CNC/nested router and edgebanding equipment, interpreting CAD drawings, and delivering high-quality finishes on time.

Candidates should have woodworking experience, be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and follow strict safety and quality protocols. Forklift operation and cross-training across zones are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in woodworking or cabinet-making preferred
• Ability to interpret CAD drawings and translate into build plans
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced shop

Responsibilities

• Operate a nested router/CNC machine including loading and off loading material
• Process materials to complete projects on time and of the highest quality
• Interpret CAD drawings to ensure build plans are being met
• Perform QA and calibration checks and routines
• Follow quality and safety standards
• Maintain shop equipment according to an established schedule
• Understand cut lists for daily jobs
• Assist with other tasks defined by the Production Manager
• Cross-train to work in various zones
• Operate forklift
• Be a team player

We are looking for a qualified individual who can operate a CNC (nested router) and/or Edgebanding machine. Previous experience is a must. Responsibilities include:

• Operate a nested router/CNC machine including loading and off loading material.
• Process materials to complete projects on time and of the highest quality

• Performa QA and calibration checks and routines
• Follow quality and safety standards.

Job Requirements

• Experience in the woodworking or cabinet-making fields preferred (32mm systems)
• Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Some prior Woodworking experience is preferred but not required.
