Job summary

Morris Group, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machine Tools Applications Engineer in Cleveland, OH to support customers and our internal sales team with hands-on CNC manufacturing solutions, programming, and demonstrations.

You will develop processes, train users on CNC lathes, mills, automation, and robotics, prepare cost estimates, assess opportunities, and travel regionally to support customers.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on machining background.
• 5+ years of experience in process development and programming of CNC machines.
• MasterCam and/or Esprit software knowledge preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Frequent travel throughout regional territory; some overnight travel required.

Responsibilities

• Part programming of CNC machine tools, process development, and customer training.
• Conduct pre-sale activities: customer visits, opportunity evaluation, machine assessment and recommendations.
• Draft accurate cost estimates and write engineering reports.
• Program and set up CNC lathes and mills with automation/robotics.
• Develop and implement customer demonstrations and training for CNC machining centers and robots.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of product lines represented by the company.
