Job summary

Morris Group, Inc. is seeking a CNC Applications Engineer to support Haas equipment demonstrations, customer training, and process development across the region. The ideal candidate is hands-on with CNC milling and turning and can work closely with customers to boost productivity.

You will troubleshoot machining issues, develop Haas programs, and assist with machine runoff and testing while traveling to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on CNC machining experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong practical experience with Haas CNC.
• Proficiency in: G-code programming; Setup and operation of CNC machines.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, programming, and process-related issues.
• Maintain technical knowledge of Haas control features, software updates, and new machine technologies.
• Train customers on machine operation, programming, work holding, tooling, and best practices.
• Develop and optimize CNC programs for Haas product offerings.
• Conduct customer machine demonstrations in the showroom.
• Support the sales team with technical evaluations, machine recommendations, and application reviews.
• Assist with machine runoff and acceptance testing.
• Travel to customer locations as needed to support demonstrations, training, and process development.
