Job summary

Morris Group, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machine Tools Applications Engineer to design, own and implement custom manufacturing solutions for customers, with focus on automation and robotics.

You will train customers and internal teams, provide demonstrations, and support pre-sale activities across a broad CNC tooling portfolio. This role requires strong hands-on machining experience and willingness to travel within the regional territory.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on machining background with ability in process development and programming of CNC machines.
• Confirmed working knowledge of MasterCam and/or Esprit software is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and effective interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Part programming of CNC Machine Tools, process development, and customer training.
• Conducting pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, evaluation of opportunities, machine assessment and recommendations, and part processing recommendations
• Drafting accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications
• Programming and setting up CNC lathes, CNC vertical or horizontal mills with automation and robotics.
• Developing/implementing customer demonstrations and training users in the safe set up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes and robots.
• Possessing and maintaining an in-depth technical knowledge of product lines represented by the company.
