Job summary

The CharterCARE Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, RI is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Unit Secretary to support nursing teams on the 1st shift (7 am–7 pm). You will assist RNs, provide patient care, and perform routine clerical tasks to keep unit operations smooth.

Requirements include Rhode Island CNA licensure, BLS, and at least one year of acute care experience; ICU/CCU experience preferred. This is a full-time regular position with 64–80 hours per two-week pay period.

Qualifications

• Rhode Island CNA license is required (BLS also required).
• Minimum one year of acute care experience preferred.
• ICU/CCU experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN with patient care for a defined group of patients.
• Provide nursing care to promote recovery and health.
• Support unit with routine administrative/clerical tasks.
