Brown University Health seeks a Nursing Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse at Newport Hospital. You will perform personal care, help with daily living activities, and assist with rehabilitation tasks while adhering to health care policies and protecting patient safety.

Requires RI CNA license, BLS, and basic computer skills; prior hospital experience is preferred. This role involves day shift, 36 hours weekly, with weekend rotation in Newport, RI.

Qualificações

• Current Rhode Island license as a Nursing Assistant.
• High school graduate or its equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform basic computer skills.
• Certified in American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Knowledge to care for patients across the life span and cultures.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Registered Nurse to organize work and set priorities.
• Perform Personal Care Skills and basic nursing assistant tasks.
• Assist with rehabilitation activities and daily living activities.
• Maintain a safe environment and report unsafe conditions or equipment needs.
• Communicate patient observations to the RN and document data in EHR.
• Follow infection control practices and comply with hospital policies.
