Harrison County Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Med/Surg and TCU Department. The role is full-time, days, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, under Nursing supervision.

Responsibilities include receptionist duties, acting as the main communications link on the nursing unit, and assisting staff nurses in patient care as per hospital policies. Indiana CNA license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Valid CNA license in the State of Indiana.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform receptionist and secretarial duties on the patient care unit.
• Serve as focal communication source in the nursing station with patients, visitors, staff, other departments and physicians.
• Assist staff nurses in patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
