Job summary

Harrison County Hospital is seeking an RN for our Med/Surg/TCU/ICU Department. This PRN position offers 12-hour shifts and the opportunity to care for patients from infancy to geriatric with medical or post-surgical needs.

The RN will document in Cerner EMR and work under nursing leadership to apply standard of care. Requirements include a valid Indiana RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing school, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Current Indiana RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• CPR/BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred; on-the-job certification available.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process from admission to discharge.
• Assess patient status, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes.
• Care for patients from infancy to geriatric with medical or post-surgical needs.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and coordinate with team.
