Job summary

Normandy-Terrace-Nursing-and-Rehabilitation-Center seeks a Transportation Aide – CNA to safely transport residents to appointments and activities while providing attentive care.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a Texas Nursing Assistant Certification. You will assist with CNA duties when not transporting residents, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout all tasks.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Current Nursing Assistant Certification in Texas is required.
• Pass DMV check and qualify for company insurance.
• Complete Employee Driver Proficiency program.
• Demonstrates strong communication, patience, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely Transport Residents: drive to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and activities.
• Ensure Resident Comfort: monitor safety and comfort during transport.
• Observe & Report: monitor residents' condition during transport and report concerns promptly.
• Assist with Mobility: help residents ambulate and transfer using proper technique.
• Monitor Vital Signs: record vitals when needed during transport.
• Support the Team: assist CNA duties in the facility when not transporting residents.
