Job summary

Landmark Of Plano Rehabilitation And Nursing Center is seeking a Transportation Aide – CNA to ensure residents are safely transported to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and activities while receiving compassionate care.

The role requires a valid driver's license, a current Texas Nursing Assistant Certification, and the ability to pass DMV checks. You will assist with mobility and may perform CNA duties when not transporting residents.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid driver’s license and has a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 25 years old for insurance requirements.
• Requires current Texas Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Pass DMV background and qualify for company insurance.
• Completes Employee Driver Proficiency program.
• Demonstrates strong communication, patience, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with caregiving and safe vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to appointments, therapy, and activities.
• Monitor safety and comfort during transport.
• Observe changes in residents' condition and report concerns.
• Assist with mobility using assistive devices and proper technique.
• Record vitals when needed during transport.
• Support CNA duties in the facility when not transporting residents.
