The role emphasizes professional conduct, strong patient care, and safe driving practices at all times. In this role you will drive residents to appointments, monitor safety, assist with mobility, and observe residents’ condition.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes.
• Current Nursing Assistant Certification in Texas.
• Able to pass DMV check and qualify for company insurance.
• Complete Employee Driver Proficiency program.
• Demonstrates strong communication, patience, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with caregiving and safe vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and activities.
• Ensure resident comfort and safety during transport.
• Observe changes in residents' condition and report concerns promptly.
• Assist with mobility using assistive devices and proper technique.
• Monitor vitals when needed during transport.
• Support the team by assisting CNA duties when not transporting residents.
