Job summary

Prime Healthcare Services seeks a Telemetry CNA at Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission, TX. This full-time night shift (12-hour) involves continuous patient monitoring, vital sign documentation, and coordination with the nursing team to ensure cardiac monitoring accuracy.

Qualified candidates have a CNA certificate, current BLS, knowledge of medical terminology, and at least six months in acute care. Benefits include health coverage, PTO, and a sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire is required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is required.
• Minimum six months’ experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure and document vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, oxygen saturation).
• Observe patients for changes in condition and report findings to the RN.
• Monitor cardiac monitors and report irregularities to nursing staff.
• Ensure telemetry leads and equipment are properly placed and functioning; act as liaison between patients and the nursing team.

We are seeking aTelemetryCNA,sometimes referred to as aCertified Nursing Assistant(CNA).TheCertified Nursing Assistant in our telemetry unit plays an important role in the care of patients who require continuous monitoring of their heart and vital signs. Our Telemetry units typically care for patients with cardiac conditions, post-surgical needs, or other medical issues requiring close monitoring. Our CNA’s provide essential support to patients under close cardiac monitoring.

Qualifications

1. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.

2. Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.

3. Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.

4. Minimum six months’ previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
