Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Staffing Coordinator or Staffing Director within a nursing center or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Ability to build strong relationships and gain support from staff.
• Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility and the ability to handle stress, change, and unexpected occurrences.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily tardiness and absenteeism calendars.
• Coordinate nursing schedules to ensure appropriate unit coverage.
• Consult with nursing staff and supervisors regarding staffing and scheduling needs to reduce or eliminate problems.
• Assist employees with the accurate and timely completion of Time Request Forms.
• Contact employees by phone, email, text, and other methods to keep worksheets and schedules up to date.
• Answer employee calls regarding staffing and scheduling.
