Job summary

Leisure Village Health Care Community is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our team in Tulsa, OK. We offer weekend and overnight shifts with competitive pay based on experience, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus for full-time qualifying candidates.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass a state-issued exam.
• Valid Oklahoma CNA certification required.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their families.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding.
• Assists resident with range of motion exercises.
• Provides for personal care and comfort.
• Movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distance in facility.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, and intake/output.
• Provides direct and indirect resident care services.
• Meets the communication needs of resident and family.
• Communicates changes in residents’ clinical condition to the nursing team.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Education
