Good Samaritan is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, documenting care, and supporting infection prevention practices to ensure safety and comfort.

You will participate in care plans, support residents during transfers and meals, and help maintain a positive dining and living environment while adhering to clinical policies and quality

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16; prior CNA experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing required within four months, or in process of obtaining.
• Maintains yearly competency testing and 12 hours continuing education annually.
• May be classified as Sanford Category II Driver with valid license when required.

Responsabilités

• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assists with transferring, positioning, ambulation, meals, and daily activities; observes and reports changes in resident condition.
