Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Nurse Aide certification in Texas required.
• Must be in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in Texas and Misconduct Registry.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.
• Assist facility scheduling and maintain daily staffing sheets.
• Follow the resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse.
• Modify schedules to cover vacancies due to vacations or illness.
• Track attendance of clinical team members and post daily schedules.
• Work on the floor as a CNA or CMA as needed and participate in on-call schedule.
