The ideal candidate has a Nurse Aide certification in Texas, a high school diploma, and the ability to communicate clearly in English. You will help ensure residents receive timely assistance and maintain compliant scheduling records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Nurse Aide certification in the state of Texas required.
• Must be in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in Texas (Misconduct Registry).
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Follow the resident assignment schedule set by the charge nurse.
• Lift, move, and transfer residents as required.
• Answer call lights in a timely manner.
• Assist or feed residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and toileting care for residents.
• Develop and post daily scheduling and staffing based on the facility budget.
• Track attendance of clinical team members and replace staff as needed.
• Work on the floor as a CNA or CMA when required.
• Participate in on-call schedules and ensure residents' rights and safety.
