Adept Nursing & Rehab of North Platte is hiring a Scheduler to manage master schedules for nursing and support staff across all shifts and units. This role supports 24/7 coverage and staffing compliance with CMS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or in the process of becoming certified.

Responsibilities

• Build and update master schedules for nursing and support staff across all shifts and units.
• Regulatory & Staffing Compliance: Ensure daily coverage meets federal, state, and facility minimum staffing ratios (CMS guidelines).
• Handle last-minute call-offs, illnesses, or emergencies by sourcing replacements or coordinating with agencies.
• Process and evaluate PTO, vacation, shift swaps, and availability while balancing fairness and operational needs.
• Promote a positive and supportive atmosphere for residents, families, and the team.

• Handle last-minute call-offs, sudden illnesses, or family emergencies by sourcing replacement staff, reallocating internal team members, or coordinating with outside nursing agencies.
• Process and evaluate requests for paid time off (PTO), vacation, shift swaps, and employee availability preferences while balancing fairness and operational needs.
• Promote a positive and supportive atmosphere for residents, their families, and the team.
