Jeffersontown Rehabilitation is seeking a CNA to join our team as Scheduler. The Staff Scheduler assists with nursing staffing by coordinating and maintaining the weekly schedule under the Director of Nursing, working with nursing supervisors to meet hour requirements.

The role requires an active CNA license and strong communication and organizational skills to manage shifts, handle calls, and ensure payroll accuracy for nursing hours.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all nursing staff and prepare the weekly schedule; notify staff of schedules and changes.
• Receive calls and direct them to address scheduling issues; inform Nursing Administration of shortages or conflicts.
• Obtain overtime or registry approvals from Nursing Administration before scheduling.
• Adjust schedules for illness, vacation, PTO, and other staffing needs.
• Collaborate daily with Nursing Administration to ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Assist the nursing office with clinical management tasks as needed.
• Assist payroll with weekly nursing hours verification.

Jeffersontown Rehabilitation is seeking a CNA to join our team as Scheduler!

Job Summary

The Staff Scheduler is responsible for assisting with staff scheduling for the Nursing Department. This position helps coordinate an effective, efficient schedule under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and works closely with nursing supervisors to meet shift-specific nursing care hour needs. Must have active CNA License

Responsibilities and Duties

• Schedule all nursing staff and prepare the weekly nursing schedule; notify staff of their schedules and any necessary changes.

• Receive incoming calls and direct them appropriately to address nursing scheduling issues. Notify Nursing Administration of staffing shortages, scheduling conflicts, or coverage concerns.

• Obtain approval from the Director of Nursing/Administrator before scheduling overtime or utilizing nursing registry personnel.

• Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes such as illness, vacation, PTO, and other staffing needs.

• Collaborate daily with Nursing Administration to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing levels.

• Assist the nursing office with clinical management tasks as needed.

• Assist the payroll manager with weekly payroll processing and verification of nursing hours.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license

• Strong communication and organization skills required
