Jefferson Rehabilitation in Jeffersontown, KY is seeking CNAs to provide compassionate resident care in a close-knit team environment. You will be supported by a structured mentorship program and engage in ongoing growth opportunities, with a leadership team dedicated to resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current state CNA certification is required.
• 1 year of long-term care experience preferred.
• Must meet state CNA requirements and maintain certification.

Responsabilités

• Attend to residents' needs, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record vital signs; assist with lifting, moving, and transporting residents.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Assist the nurse with duties as directed.

CNAs are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.

• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.

• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.

• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.

• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.

• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.

• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA
