Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services is seeking a caring Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily supportive and functional care for residents in a compassionate environment. You will work with an interdisciplinary team, assisting with ADLs, mobility, meals, and comfort while respecting resident autonomy and dignity.

The role requires CNA certification in MO/IL/PA enrollment eligibility, strong communication with residents and families, and a willingness to work weekends and varied shifts.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or eligible for PA/Nursing registry enrollment.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents and families.
• Experience in direct resident care preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends and varied shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and comfort.
• Respond to call lights and resident requests.
• Document care provided in clinical records accurately.
• Support residents in daily routines and mobility.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with nursing staff on care plans.
• Support resident participation in decision making.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to licensed staff.
• Provide compassionate, person-centered care and family communication.
