Job summary

Good Samaritan is hiring a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the evening shift in a not-for-profit long-term care setting. The role involves resident-centered care under RN supervision, including daily activities, vital signs, and basic health needs.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification with State Board.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transfers, positioning and mobility using proper techniques.
• Record vital signs and document resident care and outcomes.
• Support feeding, bathing, grooming and other personal care tasks.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to charge nurse and care team.
