Job summary

The Carriages of Mt. Zion is seeking dedicated CNA/RCA team members to join our compassionate care team. You will work with a focused nursing team to support residents, assist with daily activities, meals, and mobility, while maintaining a safe, respectful environment.

A high school diploma is required and at least one year of experience is preferred. We offer full-time roles with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within a caring community.

Qualifications

• Compassion for the elderly and a desire to help others.
• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related role.
• A CNA certification is preferred.
• Background checks and TB testing are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and medication reminders per care plans.
• Set up and serve meals, assist with feeding, and help with after-meal cleanup.
• Provide services as indicated on Resident service plans.
• Assist residents moving in and out as assigned.
• Assist with laundry and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols.
• Support housekeeping needs for residents and common areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication reminders, treatments and other care while encouraging selfcare and independence.
• Assists with setting up, serving meals, and cleaning up afterwards.
• Provides services as indicated on Resident service plans.
• Assists Residents moving in and out, as assigned.
• Assists with laundry service.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains clean, neat, comfortable safe environment for Residents, staff and visitors, including housekeeping services for Residents.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A strong desire to help others and compassion for the elderly is a must.
• This job requires a high school diploma
• At least 1 year of experience
• aCNA certification is preferred.
• A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory.
• A Alzheimer's and Dementia training is preferred, but not required.
