Job summary

The Carriages in Marietta, GA is seeking compassionate CNA/RCA team members to provide person-centered care to residents. You will work with a dedicated nursing team to assist with daily living activities, meals, mobility, and comfort, while following individual care plans.

Qualifications

• A strong desire to help others and compassion for the elderly is a must.
• This job requires a high school diploma
• At least 1 year of experience
• A CNA certification is preferred
• A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory
• Alzheimer's and Dementia training is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, medication reminders, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Assists with setting up, serving meals, and cleaning up afterwards.
• Provides services as indicated on Resident service plans.
• Assists Residents moving in and out, as assigned.
• Assists with laundry service.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains clean, neat, safe environment for Residents, staff and visitors, including housekeeping services for Residents.
