Job summary

The Carriages is seeking a CNA/RCA for part-time roles in Nashville, TN, with 1st shift (7a-3p) and 3rd shift (11p-7a). You will assist with activities of daily living, medications, meals, and resident care to promote independence and comfort for our residents. We value compassion, reliability, and teamwork.

A high school diploma is required; 1 year of experience preferred and CNA certification is a plus. Background checks, TB testing, and health screenings are mandatory.

Qualifications

• A strong desire to help others and compassion for the elderly is a must.
• This job requires a high school diploma.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• A CNA certification is preferred.
• A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory.
• Alzheimer’s and Dementia training is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, medication reminders, treatments and other care, encouraging self-care and independence.
• Assists with setting up, serving meals, and cleaning up afterwards.
• Provides services as indicated on Resident service plans.
• Assists Residents moving in and out, as assigned.
• Assists with laundry service.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures.

The Carriages of Rivergate is growing our TEAM and we are currently looking for people who have a passion for serving older adults. We are seeking hard‑working, dedicated individuals to work alongside a talented and focused nursing TEAM who enjoy working together and love serving our Residents.
