Job summary

The Arlington of Naples, an upscale Life Plan community, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Skilled Nursing unit for night shifts on a PRN basis. You will provide direct patient care and support residents with daily living activities while collaborating with the nursing team.

A valid Florida CNA license and CPR are required. English proficiency and ability to document patient records using PCC are essential.

Qualifications

• Florida license as a Certified Nursing Assistant and CPR.
• Speak, Write and Comprehend English.
• Ability to document patient records using PCC, and complete in-service training.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting.
• Repositions patients and assists with transfers from beds or wheelchairs.
• Assists residents by observing and reporting unusual findings to the charge nurse.
• Ensures call system is within reach and answered promptly.
• Assists with measurements, temperature and pulse respirations.

Essential Job Functions

• Provides direct patient care in all aspects of activities of daily living, bathing, showering, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting.
• Repositioning patients and transferring from beds, wheelchairs, etc.
• Assist with resident needs by observing and reporting all unusual finds to charge nurse.
• Ensure the call system is within the reach of resident and answered promptly.
• Assist nursing staff with height measurements, temperature and pulse respirations.
• May assist residents with errands, and activities.
