Pine Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center in Stevensville, MI, seeks a Part-time CNA for evening shifts (2:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.). The role supports direct patient care, daily living activities, and documentation under supervision.

Responsibilities include dressing, bathing, transporting residents, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. Michigan CNA certification and BLS are required within specified timelines; evenings and every-other-weekend work are expected.

About Pine Ridge

The facility sits on Hansen Care Park’s beautiful, wooded property with private and semi-private rooms, spacious shower and restroom facilities, beauty salon and barber shop services, walking paths, state of the art rehabilitation areas for those who need physical, occupational or speech therapy and cozy places to relax throughout the facility. We provide care for individuals who may require a variety of medical services including Short-term Rehabilitation, Long-term Care 24 Hour Skilled Nursing, Hospice and Respite Care, Restorative Care and Certified Wound Care.

Essential Functions

• Provides direct patient care under the direction of the Unit Manager or Licensed Nurse, consistent with policies and procedures of the unit.
• Responsible for direct day-to-day care of assigned residents/patients including dressing, bathing, transporting and feeding.
• Documents care provided as directed in a manner consistent with guidelines.
• Maintains patients’ environment/work area/equipment, and communicates any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department/unit personnel.
• Complete and maintain required number of CNA educational hours.
• Participation in select unit quality monitoring activities under the direction of the Unit Manager or Nurse Leader.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent
• Nursing Assistant Training Program Completion Required
• Michigan State Nursing Assistant Certification Required within 120 Days
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or ARC within 90 Days
