Job summary

Corewell Health's Pine Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center in Stevensville, MI is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist to provide therapy, educate patients and caregivers, and arrange adaptive equipment as directed by medical staff. The role is day shift, 40 hours per week, at the Pine Ridge RNC site.

The position requires a Bachelor's in OT, NBCOT registration, MI OT license, and BLS within 90 days. A Master's degree is preferred. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have OT degree from an accredited program.
• NBCOT certification and Michigan OT license.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred but not required.

About Pine Ridge

The facility sits on Hansen Care Park’s beautiful, wooded property with private and semi-private rooms, spacious shower and restroom facilities, beauty salon and barber shop services, walking paths, state of the art rehabilitation areas for those who need physical, occupational or speech therapy and cozy places to relax throughout the facility. We provide care for individuals who may require a variety of medical services including Short-term Rehabilitation, Long-term Care 24 Hour Skilled Nursing, Hospice and Respite Care, Restorative Care and Certified Wound Care.

Scope of work

Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction. Provides patient/caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as needed.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Registered
• MI Occupational Therapist License
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 Days
