Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completed approved PCA program per state regulations.
• Effective verbal and written communication required.
• Must be organized and work well with all levels of staff.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and concerns to supervisors or nursing staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms, common areas and dining spaces.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Follow confidentiality policies for resident information.
