Job summary

Luminis Health seeks a dedicated CNA to provide direct patient care in a team nursing setting. You will assist with hygiene, vital signs, admissions, discharges, and mobility, while maintaining safety and comfort for patients.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED and CNA certification with BLS; one year of experience is preferred. Some shifts may involve heavier patient handling and strict policy adherence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• One year CNA experience in acute care preferred.
• If serving as an interpreter, certification in Medical Interpretation is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with attention to hygiene, safety, and comfort.
• Assist with admissions, vital signs, orientation, and discharge preparation.
• Record data, assist with mobility, and communicate changes to nurses.
• Transport medications and ensure proper handling per policy.
• Support orientation of new staff and participate in care team tasks.
