Job summary

Lifepoint Health is hiring a Nursing Assistant to support our nursing team with essential patient care and daily living activities in a fast‑paced clinical setting. You will perform basic tasks, assist with mobility, monitor vitals, and help ensure a clean, safe environment while prioritizing patient comfort and dignity.

CPR/BCLS certification is required, and at least six months of acute or long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR/BCLS certification required.
• Six months of experience in acute or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide nursing care such as patient positioning, lifting, turning, and use of assistive equipment.
• Assist with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and blood pressure, plus intake/output measurements.
• Assist in admission, transfer, discharge, including handling personal belongings.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable patient environment.
• Respond promptly to patient call lights, telephone, and paging systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
